The team at O’Day Equipment knew that managing social media and making the digital space work for business takes the right amount of strategy and resources. But having a marketing team made up of only two people – one intern and one full time employee – time and resources were limited. O’Day needed a plan to make the most out of their day-to-day efforts.
After completing several training sessions with Onsharp, O’Day had a good sense of how the Onsharp team worked with clients and what the digital marketing coaching was like. They knew Onsharp would be the perfect partner to help improve their social media strategy.
Creating a Strategy for Success
Equipped with the knowledge on how to create an annual content calendar and hashtag strategy from the coaching sessions, Bridget Kruger, Marketing and Advertising Director at O’Day Equipment, and her teammate, Nick Olson, were looking for the best way to put everything together in a cohesive plan. Onsharp recommended they complete social media strategy guide coaching, a four-session coaching series that provides the framework needed for a successful social media strategy.
In the first session, Onsharp introduced O’Day Equipment to the social media strategy guide framework and how it provides a roadmap for social media goals and management. After the session, the team was given specific topics to research and prepare for the next session.
Throughout the following sessions, O’Day Equipment worked through the necessary steps to complete their social media strategy. Their Onsharp coach helped them every step of the way, from identifying priorities, to choosing the most beneficial social channels to focus on, to setting goals, to editing and narrowing down final details. In the end, the team had a complete social media strategy guide and were ready to conquer their goals on social media.
Making an Impact in the Social Space
Completing the social media strategy guide coaching helped ensure that the O’Day team was aligned on what and when to post on social media, to gain the most value and engagement.
