Needing an Update
Lube Center Sales was looking for a new website. Their site was outdated and hard to manage, and it wasn’t mobile friendly. President of Lube Center Sales, Mike Baynes, knew it was time to take action. He knew they needed something that better reflected their business and provided cohesion between Lube Center Sales and their two affiliate brands, Auto Center Sales and Franchise Sales. With his wish list in hand, he turned to Onsharp for help to create an updated website that properly represented their successful business.
Prioritizing What’s Important
To learn about their goals for the project, Onsharp and Lube Center Sales started with a website strategy session. There, Onsharp helped Mike prioritize his wish list in order to determine the most important and feasible updates to make that would fit within both his budget and timeline. Together, they created a list of priorities for Onsharp to work off of that were sure to make the biggest impact for the business.
Onsharp then started to develop the Lube Center Sales website on WordPress, a user-friendly content management system. They chose WordPress as a platform because it not only had the functionality and features needed for the new site, but would allow Lube Center Sales to easily maintain the website on their own – a priority item on their wish list. Onsharp also chose a theme with an updated look and feel to give the business the refreshed design they were looking for, as well as mobile integration and integration with Constant Contact, an email marketing solution.
After the Lube Center Sales site was developed, Onsharp was easily able to duplicate the design for Auto Center Sales and Franchise Sales, and update the appropriate content for each brand. This ensured brand consistency between all three sites while still having unique content on each, and allowed the project timeline and budget to stay on track.
Showcasing a Professional Brand
Once all three sites were created and launched, Lube Center Sales employees were trained on how to operate WordPress. Now they’re empowered to easily and efficiently manage their sites. And with the new sites in hand and the ability to keep them up-to-date, Lube Center Sales showcases their best for all three brands.
