Auto-Approve PTO for Employees Without a Manager

We’ve added a new PTO automation setting for employees who don’t have a manager assigned.

  • PTO requests can now be automatically approved when no approver is required

  • Configurable directly within the employee’s settings

Why it matters: Keeps time-off workflows moving smoothly for flat organizations or executive-level employees.

Required Announcement Reminder Notifications

To improve compliance and visibility, the system can now send reminders for required announcements.

  • Daily reminders are automatically sent to employees who haven’t acknowledged an announcement

Why it matters: Ensures important communications don’t get missed.

Desktop Notifications for Direct Messages

Messaging just became more immediate.

  • Employees can now receive desktop notifications when new direct messages arrive

Why it matters: Faster response times and better internal communication.

KPI Cards Now Support Click-to-Filter

Dashboard KPI cards are now interactive.

  • Clicking a KPI card automatically filters the related list view on that page

Why it matters: Makes it faster to jump from insights to action with fewer clicks.

Rich Announcements

Announcements are now more flexible, content-rich, and easier to view directly in context. PDFs and images can be previewed within the announcement body.

  • Admins can attach multiple files to a single announcement

  • Attachment Previews in Announcements

Why it matters: Better for policies, handbooks, PDFs, and supporting documents. Employees can consume content immediately without downloading files first.

More Natural Chat Experience

We’ve made chat conversations feel more lightweight and intuitive.

  • Chats no longer require a formal “name” before sending the first message

  • Start a conversation simply by selecting people and messaging, similar to Teams or Slack

Why it matters: Removes friction and encourages faster communication.

Map View in the Employee Directory

The Employee Directory now includes an optional geographic map view.

  • Displays employee locations based on ZIP code

Why it matters: Helpful for distributed teams, multi-location organizations, and field-based staff.

Stronger SSO Domain Security

Single Sign-On setup now includes improved validation and restrictions.

  • Prevents configuration using common personal email domains (like Gmail or Yahoo)

  • Provides clearer guidance during setup

Why it matters: Helps ensure SSO remains secure and company-managed.

Dashboard Customization

Employees can now personalize their dashboard experience.

  • Customize which widgets and information appear on the homepage

Why it matters: Gives each user a more relevant, role-specific portal experience.
