AI Chat (Beta): A Smarter Portal Assistant
We’ve introduced the first version of AI Chat, now available as a beta feature inside the portal. It’s designed to help employees get answers faster, find information more easily, and interact with key portal resources through a simple conversational experience.
Company knowledge & documentation: Ask things like “What’s our PTO policy?” or “Where can I find the benefits guide?”—AI Chat pulls answers from tenant-specific portal content like policies/FAQs, SOPs, training docs, benefits resources, and past announcements.
Personal, real-time employee data: Ask “my” questions like “What’s my PTO balance?” or “What tickets are still open?”—AI Chat securely retrieves the correct info directly from the platform (no guessing).
Secure and transparent by design: Responses are scoped to the authenticated employee + organization, read-only approved data is used, and answers include supporting sources (citations or deep links back into the portal).
Why it matters: Employees can self-serve answers faster while staying tenant-aware, secure, and confident in where information comes from.
Team Calendar Enhancements
We shipped several improvements to make the Team Calendar clearer and more useful for day-to-day scheduling.
Fixed duplicate company holidays appearing on the calendar
Added visibility into previous time off directly within the calendar view
Past PTO is now visually distinguished for easier context
The current day is now highlighted for faster navigation
Why it matters: Teams get a cleaner, more intuitive scheduling experience with better historical visibility.
Improved Registration Access Controls
We’ve tightened portal registration for better security and consistency.
Removed open self-registration
Registration pages can now only be accessed through a secure invite link
Why it matters: Ensures only authorized users can create accounts.
Cleaner Announcement Emails
Announcement notifications have been streamlined to keep messages focused.
Email content is now more focused and no longer includes unnecessary fields
Why it matters: Improves clarity and keeps communications clean for recipients.
Fixes & Improvements
- Resolved timezone-related issues in announcements
- Prevented PTO requests when an employee has no available balance and no accrual settings configured
Why it matters: Fewer edge-case errors and more consistent behavior for time off and announcements.
