At Onsharp, we love seeing local companies, people, and groups taking part in the latest social media trends. To show our appreciation and love, we choose one amazing social media account to highlight in our #HighFiveFriday blog series. These accounts may excel because they used an awesome hashtag, have a stellar online presence, or are just really good at interacting with followers on social.
For this week’s #HighFiveFriday, we’re featuring @whitehouse.co, Fargo’s one stop shop for vintage rentals and decor. The White House Co. markets themselves as dumpster divers, curbside hunters, DIY’ers, and everyday thrifters that curate pieces full of personality and life. Keep reading to see why we love what they’re doing to connect on social media.
They kill the hashtag game.
Each time that they post, they use a variety of hashtags from vintage related terminology to photography and home decor. By cross tagging with multiple topics, they increase their changes of being found by a variety of different people.
Do you see the floral wall in the background?? I witnessed @thewhitehousegirls_katie and @amandarydell literally crowbar it off a wall in a building that was being renovated. Photographers love The White House Co. and The White House Co. loves photographers.
Due to the nature of their business, their rentals are used in photo shoots, home staging, and more. By sharing photos from these photography sessions, they’re able to showcase their products in amazing settings with beautiful light.
Our girls @kaileylouise_ and @madelineschatz rocked a photoshoot with our blue settee! So fun to see our rental pieces in such beautiful settings! @rusticoaks @lovealwaysfloral @yourdaybynicole #thewhitehousecorental #minnesotaphotography #moorheadmn #fargomoorhead #rusticoaks #fargond #weddingrental #vintagerentals #tuftedsettee #ilovefargo
Their event marketing is both beautiful and socially engaging.
When marketing their recent “To Have and to Hold” event, they announced the event with a giveaway encouraging viewers to share with their friends to enter. Their photography also plays with the juxtaposition of traditional paper invitations within a digital channel as a wonderful nod to their vintage business.
