#TeamOnsharp Welcomes Erik Kantrud as a Technical Project Manager

We’ve added another friendly face to the Onsharp team! Erik Kantrud has joined us as a Technical Project Manager.

Erik will be an important facilitator for the many mobile app and custom development projects for us and our clients.

Native to North Dakota, Erik is originally from Dickinson and graduated from North Dakota State University in 2004 with a degree in Management Information Systems. Erik has been working in the IT community in Fargo for over 15 years. In that time, he has worked in many aspects of the technology industry, ultimately finding his fit as a Technical Project Manager.

Erik has worked for large companies (Microsoft, BCSND) as well as small (ClickDimensions) and found that he enjoys a smaller company environment best. Because of his interest in working for a small, flat organizational structure, Erik applied once he heard about our available position. He knew immediately that Onsharp would be a good fit for him and he would be able to enjoy having personal relationships with very motivated coworkers.

Joe Hixson, our Operations Director, said that, “We’re excited to bring Erik on to the team as a Technical Project Manager, as he will help us and our clients plan, track, and execute successful app and software projects. He will be an important part of our development team’s success.”

Get to Know Erik: 3 Fun Facts

  • Erik was a lifeguard for 15 years ‍
  • He has broken his legs twice in his lifetime
  • He has an extensive art collection, focusing on linoleum block printmaking of concert posters

Outside of the office, you can find Erik camping and exploring the outdoors, woodworking, and attending live music as much as he can. This all in-between spending as much time as he can with his wife and son!

Welcome to the team, Erik! We're glad you’re here and are excited to see what you will do for us and our clients.
