Joe Sandin, the President and CEO of Onsharp, joined TechND’s Board of Directors at the beginning of 2020. His term began on January 1, 2020, making him the newest member of the board. As a board member, Joe will work to help execute on the mission of TechND, which is to actively encourage the use, growth and development of technology in North Dakota.
“I am excited at this point in my career to begin spending more time giving back to our local community. Being involved at a board level in TechND will allow me to leverage what I have learned over the past 20 years in technology and apply it in a way that will help to strengthen the businesses in North Dakota.”
– Joe Sandin
In his application to the board, Sandin wrote that he “would like to take a more active role in the tech sector of North Dakota going forward”—which isn’t an apple far from his techy tree; he founded Onsharp, an app, web, and software development firm, in July 2000. He has also started or invested in other notable tech companies in the area, including CoSchedule, Dakota Cloud Networks, Posterboard, and My Athlete.
TechND is an advocacy group dedicated to creating a positive technology business climate. Their purpose is to promote the use, growth, and development of technology in North Dakota by advocating for favorable policies, addressing workforce needs, and championing the tech community.
