College Nannies & Tutors was experiencing difficulty managing nanny and family information because their paper-based system did not allow them to effectively search and match the right family and nanny together. After researching and trying out several off the shelf software systems, they quickly realized that a customized solution that truly complimented their unique business model was necessary in order to build a successful business and franchise model. The system would need to be scalable and allow for the possibility of up to 50 franchise units accessing one central system within the next 4-6 years.

Onsharp created a group of web-based systems that all tied seamlessly into one database, allowing nannies and tutors to apply online and make the data instantly available within that system. The core system, called CNeT, allows internal employees to manage all information related to nannies, tutors, families, and their placements. The Family Resource Center allows families to review timesheets that have been entered by their nanny or tutor and update their personal information. The Nanny/Tutor Resource Center allows nannies and tutors to fill out timesheets online, manage their profile, and apply for open positions. Lastly, the Franchisor System allows employees of the franchise company to manage all information related to existing franchises, their office locations, statistics and reports, and potential new franchises.

College Nannies & Tutors has expanded to 32 offices in 16 states and their web-based management system remains as the core of the entire business. All new nanny and tutor applications and family inquiries come into the system from their public website, eliminating the need for paper applications. All timesheets are entered by the nannies and tutors and approved by the family online, providing greater accuracy and efficiency in billing. All system changes are made in once central location and rolled out to all franchises without the need for IT support within each office.
