Peace of mind. Organization. Feelings of creativity and Nirvana.
Well, okay, perhaps that last one is a bit of an
exaggeration.
We do not claim nor imply you will attain
enlightenment because of our 3D (Discover, Develop, Deliver)
process. But we do guarantee you'll learn something valuable! You
certainly can expect a more results-oriented, structured approach
to designing your ideal web solution.
The First Meeting
Our 3D process starts with an initial discovery meeting during
which we'll ask you questions like:
- What is the purpose of your new site/solution?
- What do you hope to accomplish?
- What types of people purchase your products and services? What
are their needs, expectations and interests?
Don't worry if you can't answer all the questions immediately.
We'll help you! Our team members are experienced, knowledgeable and
will adapt the process to meet your specific needs. They are good
at what they do and they really enjoy helping business leaders like
you reach your objectives using web solutions and
services.
The Second Meeting
When you attend the next meeting, our amazing Information
Architect will show you a first draft of your sitemap. And, this
isn't your pocket-protector-sporting, nerdy-brother-in-law circa
1997 sitemap. What you'll get is a set of well-thought-out,
thorough visualization of our proposed solution. It'll look
something like this. (See below.)

We'll give you a copy and encourage you to write all over
it, marking up what you like and what you think should be changed.
If you think something should be moved to a different spot, note
it. If you think some headings should change to map more closely to
your company's terminology, write them in. When you're finished,
you'll send your marked up sitemap to our Information Architect.
She'll make changes based on your feedback and have a second draft
ready for your approval at…
The Next Meeting
You'll also see what we in the website building business call
wireframes, which are like blueprints to a house. Once you approve
the sitemaps and wireframes, we begin the design phase during which
our Project Manager will ask what visual elements and style
the solution should have. For example, you'll probably want
your web solution to reinforce and extend your company's visual
style or "look and feel." You may use words like clean or edgy to
describe how you want your site to look. We'll also ask you to tell
us how you want the site to work and what type of experience you
want your site visitors to have.
The Final Meeting
Once you've approved your sitemap and wireframe and your site's
style and functionality are defined, we'll show you a mock up of
your homepage and one supporting page. This will help you see what
it's actually going to look like. The Project Manger also will walk
through a development proposal that contains our estimates of the
time we think it'll take to build your site. The time we spend with
you during the discover phase and our experience working on similar
solutions helps us create reliable estimates.
That's what you can expect during the first of our 3
D's-Discover. We may need more or fewer meetings, depending on how
much you have defined before we start. Sometimes, we get through
all the steps in one session! We'll work together to design
your solution and have fun along the way. And, we'll be better
prepared for a smooth development and implementation
process.

satisfaction, and spiritual enlightenment.
